A little about me...

My name is Michael Miller and this is my 18th year at the Oak Grove R-VI district.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a minor in Computer Science.  I obtained my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in math.  I taught math at Oak Grove High School for my first 15 years of teaching.  I also have my certification as a Library Media Specialist and worked at MCPL part time for 3 years.  I find learning new things, especially involving technology, exciting.  I've been building and tinkering with PC's since I was 17.  Over the years I've written programs or code in C, C++, Java, Python, Perl, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.  I love technology and teaching people how to use it.

There's a neat little tool within Canva that removes the background of any photo with people in it.  Very cool if you want to make theme photos of your classroom or special awards for your students.  Check it out below.
