PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The purpose of the Oak Grove R-VI School District Professional Development Committee is to support increased student achievement by focusing resources on the District Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) and measuring success using the National Staff Development Council’s Standards for Staff Development.
The following links will provide specific guidelines and information about accessing and reporting professional development participation for the District’s certified staff.

Steps to Request and Receive Approval for a Professional Development Learning Opportunity (PDLO)
PDLO REQUEST FORMS: Please print the form for your building, complete it, and turn it in to either your building PD Representative or to the Building Principal.
All Requests for PDLO must be approved by the Building Professional Development Committee prior to the activity. Therefore, allow enough time for your request to be processed by the committee at their regularly scheduled meetings.

PDLO EVALUATION FORMS: Upon completion of a Professional Development Learning Opportunity, please print and complete the following PDLO Evaluation Form. *This form is the same for all buildings. Payment of PDLO Invoices and Reimbursements will not be approved until the PDLO Evaluation Form is received.
Turn in a copy of the completed PDLO Evaluation to the Building Principal. All participants should keep a copy of the form in their PD files. Send a copy to the Assistant Superintendent’s office.
DISTRICT/BUILDING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY SIGN-IN SHEET This form can be printed and used to record participation in district and building professional development activities.
